 C. Further Studies and Career Prospects 

 1.   What is the career path for CPEE graduates? What can I do after I get a diploma in CPEE? 
    For future careers, these are some of the areas you can explore:

• Early childhood educator as the first two years of your diploma studies is accredited by the Pre-school Qualifications Accreditation Committee (PQAC).

• Allied Educators with enhanced skills to help children with special needs.

• Executive in family and children services.

• Writer for children’s literature.
 
     
 2.     If I take the CPEE course, will I be able to get any kind of advance standing for further studies? 
    You can receive up to one semester’s exemption at the following institutions:

     •  National University of Singapore

     •  Nanyang Technological University

You will be given preference for a customised degree at Ngee Ann campus offered by Wheelock College Centre for International Education, Leadership, and Innovation. You will complete the Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Educational Studies and Leadership in two years, including a five-week immersion programme in Boston.

You may also enjoy exemptions for the following programmes:


    • Queensland University of Technology, Australia - Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies / Bachelor of Education


    • Macquarie University, Australia - Bachelor of Early Childhood


    • University of South Australia, Australia - Bachelor of Early Childhood Education


    • James Cook University Singapore - Bachelor of Business/ Bachelor of Psychology / Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)/ Bachelor of Information Technology

CPEE graduates may gain direct entry into Flinders University, Australia in partnership with Social Service Training Institute (SSTI) - Bachelor of Education (Special Education).
