 SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES 

ARTS BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (ABM)

Talent in the Arts Grant

- Up to $5,000 grant per student will be awarded to students to pursue their passion in dance, music, theatre or visual arts each year. Students can use the bond-free grants to receive training by renowned instructors or attend master classes.  

CHINESE STUDIES (CHS)

MOE Teaching Bursaries for 3 years of study

- Teaching bursaries are available to those whom the Ministry of Education (MOE) selects for its trainee teacher programme. The award includes full tuition fee and monthly allowance of $800 for the 3 years of study. Students who are interested in becoming Chinese Language teachers may apply directly with MOE for a teaching bursary.     

CHINESE MEDIA & COMMUNICATION (CMC)

SPH Chinese Newspapers Scholarship 

- Scholarship worth $2,000 will be awarded to a student with outstanding GCE 'O' Level results and exemplary co-curricular activities. 

- There is no bond attached to the scholarship.  

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (ECH) / CHILD PSYCHOLOGY & EARLY EDUCATION (CPEE)

Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Scholarship ($18,900 each) for 3 years of study

- For year 1 ECH or CPEE students with good GCE 'O' Level results and exemplary co-curricular activities.

- The award covers tuition fees, notebook allowance and monthly allowances for 3 years of study. 

- Recipients will serve a 2-year bond in PCF or NTUC First Campus. The award is open only to Singaporeans and PRs.  

PAP Community Foundation (PCF) Scholarship ($18,900 each) for 3 years of study

- For year 1 ECH or CPEE students with good GCE 'O' Level results and exemplary co-curricular activities. 

- The award covers tuition fees, notebook allowance and monthly allowances for 3 years of study. 

- Recipients will serve a 2-year bond in a PCF kindergarten. The award is open only to Singaporeans and PRs.    

Temasek Cares Study Award ($13,000 each) for 2 years of study  

- Given to Year 2 ECH and CPEE students.

- The award covers full tuition fees and monthly allowances for studies for 2 years of study. 

- Recipients will serve a 2-year bond in a special needs sector upon graduation or in a VWO specified by NCSS. The award is open only to Singaporeans and PRs.
