 Alumni News 

The HMS Alumni was set up in May 2012 to cultivate goodwill and a sense of pride towards HMS and NP among our graduates. A resource panel was formed shortly after the setting up of the Alumni and 10 HMS graduates stepped forward and committed to serve.

   Our celebrity turned entrepreneur guest speaker engaged our Alumni with her sharing on her personal experiences, entrepreneurship and networking.

bullet  CHS graduate places thrid in "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition 2012
   CHS graduate (Class of 2011), Tan Zhi Xian has won 3rd prize at the 11th “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College (Singapore Round).

bullet  Northwest CDC awards Outstanding All Rounder Student awards to BZSE and PCS Gold Medallist
   Graduates Ezhilan Oviyum (BZSE, Class of 2012) and Muslihah Albakri (PCS, Class of 2012) have done HMS proud by each receiving the Outstanding All Rounder Student Award by Northwest CDC.

   Graduate Shenlynn Lim (CPEE, Class of 2012) overcomes challenges with dyslexia to win young achievers award by Dyslexia Association of Singapore.

bullet  PCS grad scores a first by winning prestigious scholarship
   Germaise Tan Jiang Ling (PCS, Class of 2011) has created history with her sterling achievement as the first polytechnic graduate to be awarded a Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports Singapore Government Scholarship.

2011

bullet In the News - Father's determination inspires comeback
  Her father's determination in overcoming his own serious illness inspired ECH graduate Wan Nur Fadhillah Wan Othman to persevere and top her cohort whilst in NP. Now in her first year of degree studies, she has received the Dr Joan Bergstrom scholarship. 

bullet Wu Qi from pioneering batch of CHS students (Class of 2007) has done us proud!
  She has completed her degree at NUS and achieved a First Class for the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (2008-2011, Major: Chinese Studies). Wu Qi was also the top student from the pioneering batch of CHS students and silver medallist. She has also been offered an NUS Research Scholarship to pursue a MA in Chinese Studies.

bullet BZSE Graduates selected for SIF Thailand Study Trip
  2 BZSE graduates, Justine Lee and Glory Tan were selected from the Singapore International Foundation's Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) Programme Alumnus to go on an expenses paid study trip to Thailand from 19-26 June 2011.
