The School of Humanities (HMS) is the first such school amongst the polytechnics. It caters to the growing interest and increasing societal need to have a broad-based education and to prepare students in employment niches which require specialised skills. We have currently over 900 full-time students and over 100 part-time students in our School.
We have a total of 8 programmes (6 full-time and 2 part-time). Our courses are niche and unique, and available only in this polytechnic. Our students gain a strong foundation in their course knowledge and skills. We have a Learner-centred Learning approach and students are constantly challenged to develop themselves in a holistic environment. Students in HMS can also add value to their learning by enrolling in a Diploma Plus in a Foreign Language or Business, offered by other schools in Ngee Ann.

Our 2 part-time courses are:- 1. Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE - T) New! 2. Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs)
