Summer & Its Rain, an FSV Final Year Project (2010), took home the Volumina Award from the Ca' Foscari Short Film Festival held in Venice, Italy. The festival, held from May 26 to 29, featured 3 other FSV Projects as well - Left Hook (FYP '10), Stories (FYP '10) and Bandh (DRAPRO '10).

The Volumina Award is awarded to "the movie which offers the greatest contribution to cinema as an art." Summer & Its Rain's crew members, Atiqah Abdul Samat (Editor) and Marjorie Teo (DP), were present at the awards ceremony in Venice to receive the prize.
