Depending on your qualification, you may apply to join the FSV, MCM, DVFX course under the following THREE types of admissions exercises:

1. Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)
2. Joint Polytechnic Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE)
3. Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)

The choice of admission exercise is based on the following criteria:

• Your qualification (e.g, GCE “O” Level, GCE “A” Level, ITE, etc) / year
• Your current status (e.g. former poly student, foreigner, etc), and
• Your course(s) of interest

JAE (DVFX and FSV)	Singaporeans or PRs with GCE 'O' level 2007 results or previous years Singaporeans or PRs who sat for the 2007 GCE 'O' levels as private candidates Non-Singaporeans fresh from a government, government-aided and independent school with GCE 'O' level 2007 results ONLY for applicants who have a minimum grade of C5 for English, and who must NOT have enrolled in any polytechnic before.
JPSAE for FSV, MCM, DVFX (Via Special Talent)	ONLY for applicants with GCE 'O' Level 2007 results and who: Demonstrate outstanding intellectual abilities or strong passion/aptitude through: relevant work attachments and/or portfolio; sustained involvement in projects; or outstanding performance in competitions like the international Olympiad competitions; or school video awards. Applicants should possess exceptional talent in areas such as leadership, community service, entrepreneurship, sports and arts.
DAE for DVFX, FSV, MCM applications	DVFX/FSV	Applicants with previous year's GCE 'O' Level results and who meet the MER International Qualifications holders, including SPM & STPM (only where Bahasa English 1119 [equivalent to GCE ‘O’ Level English as first language] was taken) Non-Singaporeans who have sat for the GCE 'O' levels as private candidates or those with previous year(s) GCE 'O' levels Current/Former poly students IP year 4/ Pre-IB year 2 students NITEC in Digital Audio & Video Production (FSV only) NITEC Digital Animation (DVFX only) NITEC Digital Media Design (DVFX only)
