Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations (APR) – New!

Introduction

Our new Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations equips you with essential marketing communications knowledge and skills, making you a sought-after candidate for advertising, public relations, or media agencies, as well as public and private organisations.

With this new diploma, Ngee Ann is the first local polytechnic to bring together the two fundamental disciplines in Marketing Communications - Advertising and Public Relations - into one comprehensive programme.

This means you will be well-trained in all aspects of the advertising and public relations, including branding, marketing, promotions, as well as corporate and media communications.

You will understand the key roles, functions, and organisational structure of agencies, and learn the characteristics of an effective campaign. Groomed to thrive in a competitive and cluttered business and media environment, you will be taught how to successfully manage your product and corporate brands, and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Simply put, you will be poised to address the marketing communication needs of your company through planning, developing, and executing cutting-edge strategies, and measuring their effectiveness.
Career Prospects

According to a Workforce Development Agency and the Ministry of Information, Communications & the Arts report, Singapore's advertising industry is emerging as a global creative hub. The Integrated Resorts scheduled for completion in 2009 also adds to the demand for professionals in the fields of advertising, branding, marketing and public relations.

With a Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations, you will be sought after for positions in Advertising, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, and Marketing.
