Poh Kwan now teaches the craft of storytelling for the digital and print media in Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film and Media Studies.
She's previously assistant director at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs, where she took charge of research, publication and stakeholder engagement efforts for an environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility program.
She was also a journalist of 6 years with The Straits Times, covering Southeast Asia news at Foreign Desk and reporting on Singapore politics, Asian entertainment, crime and court for its online video channel RazorTV.
She graduated with a major in Communications Research from Nanyang Technological University’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.
Poh Kwan enjoys the company of words, music, films and most of all, her friends and family. She also likes nature (minus the sandflies). Wildlife spotting is one of her all-time-favourite activities.
