Abstract:
This is an innovative air freshener design that uses natural ingredients such as fragrant flowers and leaves instead of chemicals.
Detailed Description:
Air fresheners are widely used in offices, automobiles and at home. Existing air fresheners use chemicals to produce the required perfume. However, some people prefer fragrance from natural flowers and leaves, such as Jasmine flowers and Pandan leaves. The project involves the design of a new air freshener that allows flowers and leaves, prepared or cut to appropriate sizes, to be filled, added or replaced when necessary. Two prototypes are to be produced, one for use at home or office and the other for use in automobiles. Flower and leaf refills will be prepared and sold in packets of certain volume. The product can be sold in supermarkets and departmental stores.
The product is unique as there is no similar existing product, based on research done. The product gives the users an alternative means to have the desired fragrance in a room. It is especially suitable for users who are sensitive or allergic to certain chemicals. It is environmentally friendly as it uses natural items.
