Jointly organised by Shell Companies in Singapore, the Institute of Technical Education, ITE Alumni Association and Singapore Press Holdings (Chinese Newspapers Division), the Shell LiveWIRE Awards offers applicants valuable training workshops in business management.

With the rise of youth entrepreneurship education in recent years, more people are taking up the entrepreneurial challenge at an even younger age. This year, a new category in the award, LiveSPARK, is introduced to secondary schools, junior colleges, ITE and polytechnics to encourage entrepreneurial spirit amongst students.

BETA Competition and Learning Festival 2011 - Open!
BETA Competition is organised by Economic Development Board and Unbox Pte Ltd which open to all students studying in IP and IB Schools, JCs, polytechnics, and undergraduates in local universities, aged, 16-25 years old. Students awaiting A level results are also welcomed.

Entrants to the competition should design a vision for the Year 2030, addressing issues that fall into one of the three identified themes - Urbanisation & Sustainability, Health & Wellness and Lifestyle & Entertainment

It aims to identify breakthrough innovations from youth that can possibly inspire a strategic change for our future economy and industries and to showcase youth talent and inspire the next generation to see the relevance and importance of economic development.
