SIFE World Cup Competition in LA
10 - 12 October 2010
Ngee Ann's Student Entrepreneurship Club (SEC) members emerged as National Champions at the annual Student in Free Enterprise's(SIFE) Singapore Competition on the 19 June 2010.
The SIFE-NP Team also represented Singapore at the prestigious World Cup in Los Angeles on 10-12 Oct 2010. They were awarded 3rd place in he opening league of the competition.

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010
15 - 21 November 2010
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a rally point for a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, exposing millions to life-changing entrepreneurial experiences.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is an opportunity to showcase and celebrate all the amazing work that goes on year-round.
Acitivities range from enterprise competitions to talks from local models to large scale conferences.
Entrepreneurs-Connect@NP hosted an enriching event "Tea with Entrepreneurs Series" on 18 November 2010 in conjunction of the GEW week.
A total of 3 entreprenuers was invited to share with our studentthe perspective of starting a business, the chalenges for start-up companies and the route that entrepreneurs take to bring their business overseas.
It was well received and a total of 60 students attended the tea session.

eCHALLENGE 2010 University of Adelaide
The Entrepreneurs Challenge is a business plan competition, which aims to foster the sucessful development of new ideas in investment-ready, early-stage companies, to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship and to create genuine commercial prospects.
A total of 6 teams were selected for the final judging. of which 2 teams : Sunflower Enterprise" and NP Alumni "Magnum Pictures"were from our Polytechnic.
NP Alumni, Magnum Pictures, has emerged 2nd runners up in the Universiy of Adelaide, Entrepreneurship-Challene, held for the polytechnic students and alumni. They have won thmselves S$2,000 cash prize and S$2,000 seed fund.
It was an enriching and inspiring learning journeys for our student-entrepreneurs.
