Entrepreneurial Learning Visit to Jurong Superbowl

Thirty students from various NP schools went on an entrepreneurial learning trip to Jurong Superbowl during the vacation on 4th April 2008.
The visit started at 10am with Mr Roland Teo, the Managing Director of Superbowl and Hiap Hoe Corporation sharing his perspective on the challenges in managing a lifestyle business in competitive Singapore. He also related to students on how Superbowl had managed to capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities to expand and diversify its business portfolio to remain relevant in dynamic market conditions.
The most exciting part of the visit was the facility visit. The students were treated to peep “behind-the-pins” in a walkabout and familiarization tour conducted by Mr Teo himself to let students understand the operations of the bowling centre. It was an enriching experience for the students and all of them stayed on for a complimentary bowling game on the house of Superbowl.
