Diploma in Real Estate Business (N48)

  • The first and only diploma in the business and management of real estate

  • A comprehensive programme in real estate management with a strong foundation in business, law, marketing and technology

  • Overseas training stints in major cities such as Hong Kong, Shanghai and Melbourne

  • Recognised by leading authorities such as the HDB, IRAS, the Council for Estate Agencies, and the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers

From dazzling Marina Bay to Jurong Gateway, Singapore’s biggest upcoming suburban commercial hub, to upmarket Sentosa Cove... Singapore’s real estate industry is abuzz with excitement and there has never been a better time to be in it.

Yet, to have a good grasp of this dynamic industry, you will need knowledge across many disciplines. And that’s where we come in. With Ngee Ann’s Diploma in Real Estate Business (REB), you will be trained in both the business and management aspects of real estate.

You will learn to plan, develop, manage, value, market, finance and invest in real estate projects. You will also gain the knowledge needed to create, market and manage shopping centres, office developments, integrated resorts, theme parks, condominiums, offices and retail properties.

Through field trips and study tours, you will explore the dynamic property market in Singapore. You can expect to get up close with property gurus who will share with you their industry insights. To further hone your skills in the real world, you will go on a six-month internship or take up an industry-based project.

You can then round up your unique REB education with overseas training stints in major cities such as Shanghai, Hong Kong and Melbourne!

With this diploma, you can find jobs in all sectors of the real estate market and building industry. You will also be able to work with finance and investment companies that deal in property assets.

You can assume the role of an executive overseeing property investment, marketing, planning and development, finance and housing loans, property valuation and much more. Alternatively, you can become a project supervisor or quantity surveyor.

Potential employers include government departments, regulatory authorities and statutory boards, banks, property development and investment companies, real estate consultancies, town councils, construction companies and chartered surveying practices.

With a few years’ experience under your belt, you can also apply for a House Agent’s Licence issued by the Council for Estate Agencies.
