COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is the joint-cooperative effort of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Centre of Innovation – Marine & Offshore Technology and AZUR Offshore, UK. Before offshore oil and gas projects are finally implemented on location or in the field, much information for dealing with the many issues at different stages must be gathered to clearly define the project. With the appropriate assessments done and issues resolved, decisions are then made to roll out the project.
The aim of this course is to introduce interested parties to the project information and processes involved in offshore field development before the final project implementation. Case Studies and videos will be used to illustrate lessons learned from past successful projects. A CDROM of the powerpoint presentation pdfs in colour will be distributed with the lecture materials.
