 FPSO TANKER CONVERSIONS AND OFFSHORE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY 

COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is the joint-cooperative effort of Ngee Ann Polytechnic Mechanical Engineering Division and AZUR Offshore, UK. The course is designed to help the participants to acquire the fundamental knowledge of FPSO tanker conversions and offshore oil and gas production/processing technology. Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to understand the basics of offshore oil and gas production/processing systems, equipments’ working principles and field requirements. Case Studies, videos and multimedia will be used to illustrate operating principles and lessons learned from past successful projects. A CDROM of the powerpoint presentation pdfs in colour will be distributed with the lecture materials.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
FPSO conversion shipyards, offshore oil rig building yards, offshore vessels building yards, subcontractors, offshore construction companies, offshore equipment vendors, offshore service providers, classification societies and marine & offshore SMEs personnel involved in design & engineering, planning, procurement, project management, engineering production, vessel construction, quality control, equipment and vessels survey, commercial, commissioning, project administration related to Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) conversions and new-building.

AWARD
Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who have achieved at least 80% attendance.

Start Date : 22ND – 23RD September 2011
Duration of Course : 12 hours
Day/Time : Thursday and Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

COURSE FEE : $513.60*
* Fees are inclusive of 7% GST and subject to review Course fees are payable upon application

FUNDING INCENTIVE
Funding incentive is not available for this course.

REFUND POLICY FOR WITHDRAWAL
Participants are liable to pay full course fees. All applications for refund of fees due to withdrawal must be made in writing to the Director, COI-MOT. Each application will be assessed and processed on a case-by-case basis.
Guidelines for refund or waiver of fees are as follows:

Two weeks before course commencement 100% refund / waiver of Course Fees
Within two weeks before course commencement on valid grounds** 75% refund / waiver
On commencement of course No refund
** Valid grounds: Medical, Overseas company assignment, National Service
NB: In the event that the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, full refund of course fees will be given. Minor amendments to enhance the course may be necessary. In this context, refunds are not allowed.
