The Environmental & Water Technology Centre of Innovation (EWTCOI) held the first CEO Forum for the furniture industry with Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC). The objective of the Forum is to touch base with the furniture industry to understand their processes and to gather feedback from key decision stakeholders on the need for new environmental technologies to review or re-shape their business protocols and build corporate social responsibility. A major challenge could be related to managing wastes and energy. This forum is a wonderful opportunity for SMEs to engage our Research Scientists and Engineers to explore R&D possibilities.
