As part of the national drive towards technology and innovation, the Singapore  Government has stepped up its R&D investment to catalyse greater technology innovation among local enterprises.  The setting up of Centres of Innovation in the polytechnics is one such initiative to provide applied R&D and technology support to local enterprises. 

Backed by some 30 years experience in providing consultancy services, applied R&D support and capability training to the industry in the areas of environmental & water as well as marine & offshore, Ngee Ann Polytechnic is pleased to partner SPRING Singapore in meeting the applied technology needs of local enterprises in these industries.  The Environmental & Water Technology and Marine & Offshore Technology Centres of Innovation were set up in Nov 2006.
