NP Co-op was founded in 1971, originally known as the Ngee Ann Technical Co-operative Society, Limited.
In 1982, the company was renamed and officially known as Ngee Ann Polytechnic Consumer Co-operative Society, Limited (NP Co-op). |

For the design, C & O are used to represent NP Co-op. For the C, it is actually from the Co and the O from op. It also symbolizes the expansion of Co-op as it is going world wide with E-commerce. And lastly, red was chosen as the colour as it shows the warmth of the staff and the student members. |
