Course Fee Funding is provided by WDA to eligible participants of WSQ WSH Professionals courses accredited by WDA. Participants can be either self-sponsored or company-sponsored.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Participants must be Singaporeans or Permanent Residents
- Participants who have not enjoyed course fee funding for the same course/modules before
- When the participant is company-sponsored, sponsoring companies must be registered or incorporated in Singapore and must fully sponsor the course fees
Funding Level:
- 90% course fee funding for Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents for courses at Certificate, Higher Certificate and Advanced Certificate level
- 70% course fee funding for Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents for courses at Diploma, Professional Diploma, Specialist Diploma, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma level.
- Scheduled modular courses are also eligible for the same level of funding.
- Participants are funded once for each course/module. Participants will have to pay the full fee for any repeat course / module
- Funding terms and conditions are subject to review and change without prior notice
Terms and Conditions for WDA Course Fee funding
Companies and individuals who draw on the WDA course fee subsidy must meet the following conditions:
- Achieve 80% attendance in all modules and whole course
- Successfully complete all required assessments
- Complete the post-training surveys conducted between 3-6 months after the end of training
Ngee Ann Polytechnic will recover the funded amount from the participants / companies if the Participant withdraws from course after acceptance of course offer / confirmation from sponsoring company. or
- Participants fails to achieve 80% attendance
- Participants fails to complete and pass all required assessments
- Fails to complete the post-training survey
Fee Payment:
Companies and individuals pay the non-funded portion of the tuition fees. GST payable is on the non funded portion of the fees.
Absentee payroll support provided by WDA is also available to company-sponsored participants at www.skillsconnect.gov.sg .
