NATIONAL SILVER ACADEMY
About National Silver Academy
The National Silver Academy (NSA) is a network of Post-Secondary Education Institutions (ITE's, polytechnics, universities and arts institutions) and Voluntary Welfare Organisations offering a wide range of learning opportunities for Seniors (aged 50 years and above). Seniors can choose to attend any of the following short courses and exam-free modules offered by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Note: Those under 50 years old are also welcome to apply for the short courses.
The exam-free modules offered under the National Silver Academy (NSA) are essentially audit modules, whereby seniors can sit into a class as observers without needing to complete any formal assessment. These modules form part of a CET Diploma course, and cover in-depth knowledge and skills in the specified domain area (such as Humanities & Social Sciences, Business & Accountancy, and Engineering). These modules typically consist of evening sessions spanning two to five months. There are up to five places per class. Classes will be joint with other students who are taking these modules on an assessment mode.
Note: These Exam-Free modules are only open to Singaporean Seniors aged 50 years and above.
