WDA appoints NP as the CET Centre for the Training of Infocomm Professionals under The Infocomm Workforce Skills Qualifications Framework. NP will offer the following courses:

NICF- TESCOM Certified Software Tester

This is the first of three key modules to be certified as a competent software tester. The software development process is explained to help students understand the significant steps of software development. From these process, the participant can better understanding how testing can be incorporate to ensure the application or system works correctly.

# Duration: 30 hours; 4 full days

 

NICF - TESCOM Certified Test Analyst

 

This course delivers the latest industry expertise on Test Engineering essential to improving the quality of delivered systems in an organization. It covers a wide range of topics such as interpretation of Use Cases, understanding the various types of Test plans and analyzing the test outcome in order to write a Test Report. Participants will be better able to contribute to a wider spectrum of in-house Testing activities.

# Duration: 30 hours; 4 full days

 

NICF - Design and Build RFID Applications

 

This course develops competency skill in the area of design RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) systems in the context of feasible business or industrial applications. The course covers from design to database integration to installation and maintenance of RFID systems. Participants must have .NET programming capability.

# Duration: 75 hours

 

NICF - Web Production

 

 

This is a basic course for participant to move into web applications development. This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for seeking employment in the web-development area at entry-level. Students will develop knowledge and skills in the creation of interactive and multimedia Web pages. They will learn how to use the features of a computer to create multimedia-based documents (sound, text, graphics, animations, video clips) and to publicize information on the Internet.

# Duration: 90 hours

 

NICF - Web Applications Development

 

The short course provides a comprehensive education in managing and developing web-based applications. It prepares participants to become specialists with knowledge and skills in the area of designing and developing web-based applications.

# Duration: 135 hours

 

NICF - Advanced Web Programming

 

 

Advanced Web Programming provides the exposure to enable the different models of web model and the business aspect of deploying the web application. This course will benefit IT application developers of Internet web-based business applications in context of today’s changing business needs. More advanced programming techniques are taught to increase the proficiency of Web Applications development.

# Duration: 90 hours

 

NICF - Programming Algorithms

 

In this course, students will learn to write program statements to control the repeat or counting process. Writing these program statements and constructs are essential basic steps in learning programming. Everyone who does not have any idea or knowledge about programming MUST take this course. This course is beneficial to everyone who wants to write JAVA or .NET programs.

# Duration: 45 hours

 

NICF - Object-Oriented Design in UML (Unified Modeling Language)

 

This course is fundamental to design programming solutions using objects to represent information and write program solutions. Object-Oriented design is the methodology in write programming solutions. UML is a method to model the programming problem into manageable modules to provide solutions. It is a specification language to represent the solution expressed as an object. Design methodology is a MUST for every person who wants to write programs.

# Duration: 45 hours

 

NICF - Applications Development in JEE (Java Enterprise Edition)

 

JEE is a JAVA platform for programming solution for server-client computing. Applications are built from the UML specification learnt in “Object-Oriented Design in UML”. Participants are guided in their understanding and writing more complex applications in JEE.

# Duration: 75 hours
