What You Will Learn
You are required to complete 2 post-diploma certificates within a two-year validity period to be awarded the Specialist Diploma qualification.

Learn to apply a holistic approach to assessment and understand pathophysiologic and pharmacologic considerations in gerontology.

Community Gerontology Nursing 2

Study the principles and concepts of community gerontology nursing, primary, home healthcare and palliative care nursing and attain consolidated clinical experience.

Entry Requirements

Applicants with any of the following qualifications are invited to apply for the course:

  • Registered nurses with valid practising certificate from Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

  • A Diploma / Degree in Health Sciences (Nursing) or equivalent

    • Preference will be given to those who have worked with elderly patients.

 

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): RPL is not applicable for this course.
