On 11 th June 2010, 80 first-year Banking & Financial Services (BFS) students participated in the annual BFS Bonding Camp! The main aim of the BFS Bonding Camp is to enable the Year 1 freshmen to get to know their fellow course mates and seniors better through various ice-breaking and bonding activities. This year, the theme of the camp was ‘Safari’ and participants were treated to a 3D2N stay at Loft@94 on campus.
During the camp, participants played a variety of strategic bonding activities which challenged them physically and tested their ability to work cohesively as a team. All teams exhibited great team spirit and true sportsmanship. The Grand Finale of the camp was the BFS Performance Night held at The Green Mall on campus. Special guests for this event included representatives from NTU Investment Club, Mrs Choo Jin Yi (BFS Academic Manager) and Ms Patricia Kong (BFS lecturer).
BFS Camp 2010 was definitely a magical adventure where new friendships were forged and unity within BFS students was strengthened. The Investment Club Committee would like to thank our lecturers for providing unconditional support towards the planning of the event, as well as the facilitators who had contributed their time and effort into making the camp such a wonderful success.
