With exciting theme parks, glitzy integrated resorts, and world-class retail and hotel facilities, Singapore is now the destination of choice for many tourists who come to Asia. Want to be in on the buzz? Join our Diploma in Tourism & Resort Management (TRM)!

Wider Focus, Wider Career Choices
Learn more about managing mega events and the business aspects of these four sectors: hospitality, leisure & lifestyle, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) and travel industries. Valuable hands-on learning sessions and internships will round off your industry knowledge and offer you even wider career choices upon graduation!

Not Your Typical Classroom
Luxury cruise liners, theme parks and five star resorts – these are just some of the “classrooms” our students get to learn in. And we are not just talking about Singapore – you can count global tourism hotspots like Paris, Las Vegas, Hong Kong and Australia’s Gold Coast among your learning destinations.

Special Curriculum
As a TRM student, you will get acquainted with the finer points of wining and dining, arts, culture, golf, and personal grooming with lifestyle appreciation workshops. TRM will also provide you with a strong business foundation that features a global and entrepreneurial focus.

TRM graduates can find many job openings in the MICE, hospitality, travel, food and beverage, and other tourism-related sectors. You could be involved in a wide variety of management positions in sales and marketing, operations, facility planning and development, promotions, public relations, consultancy and customer service.

As a TRM graduate, you will be able to pursue a two-year degree in Hotel Administration offered by the Singapore Institute of Technology in collaboration with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This programme is heavily subsidised and conducted right here in Singapore.

You will also be able to pursue a wide range of degree courses at all local universities and several overseas universities which may grant at least one year’s exemption.

They include Australian universities such as Southern Cross University, the University of Queensland and the University of Southern Queensland, as well as the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have the following GCE ‘O’ Level examination (or equivalent) results.

Subject
'O' Level Grade
English Language 1–6
Mathematics (Elementary/Additional) 1–6
Any three other subjects 1–6

You must also have sat for a Humanities subject or Art / Music or Principles of Accounts or a relevant OSIE / Applied Subject and fulfil the aggregate computation requirements.
