The School of Business & Accountancy (BA) is widely acknowledged as the premier provider of Business and Accountancy education at the polytechnic level in Singapore. With a history dating back to 1963, the School is recognised as the place to learn the intricacies of the corporate world. The School also features a number of flagship programmes, such as Experiential Training for Entrepreneurship Development (EXTEND) and the Realistic, Experiential & Applied Learning (REAL) programme, to promote learning, innovation and entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs-Connect@NP is a unit driven by BA that helps our students realise their dreams and start their innovative businesses. Product/market study, business plan and ongoing business development guidance is offered to Ngee Ann Polytechnic student ventures. These ventures can seek funding through the Polytechnic’s EnterpriZe! Scheme and SPRING Singapore’s Entrepreneurial Talent Developmement Fund (ETDF) Scheme. STaRLink (Service Training and Research) is another unit driven by BA to provide service training to BA students and industry partners. Besides training services, it also provides consultancy services to corporate clients in areas such as Service Class, Singapore Quality Class and Service Audit. In addition to offering training and consultancy services, it also carries out cutting edge research with industry partners.
