BA CARES Alumni took time off from their busy schedules to mentor a group of third year ACC students taking the WIL module. The students’ project was to raise public awareness for Health Serve, a non-profit organization that provides affordable medical services and counseling advice for the less fortunate. The event was a charity dinner at Red White & Pure, a restaurant. Patrons chose a time during the evening of 20th June 2007 which was convenient to them for dinner at Red White & Pure, and a part of the proceeds for the evening were donated to Health Serve.

The BA Cares team also helped to design posters and pamphlets for the Health Serve Community Clinic to create public awareness about the services Health Serve provides for foreign workers and commercial sex workers.
