Mori Ong, a final-year Diploma in Business Studies student, was the happy recipient of a 2007 Friend of Singa Award at a ceremony on 11 September 2007 officiated by Rear Admiral (NS) Lui Tuck Yew, the Minister of State for Education.

The Singapore National Day Awards are a means of recognising various forms of merits and service rendered to the nation. For National Day 2007, Awards were received by five staff from the School of Business & Accountancy.
