Chairman
Mr Tang Kin Fei
Mr Tang is Group President & CEO of Sembcorp Industries. With over 20 years at Sembcorp, he is credited with spearheading its growth into a focused energy, water and marine group with operations spanning six continents worldwide. He also sits on the board of Sembcorp Marine, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, as a non-executive and non-independent director. Mr Tang is a member of the APEC Business Advisory Council and President of the Singapore Water Association. The Vice Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation and a council member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Tang also serves on several China-Singapore, Saudi-Singapore and Abu Dhabi-Singapore business councils. In addition, he is a member of Singapore’s Climate Change Network and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce Foundation, as well as the Vice Chairman and trustee of the Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital.
 
Deputy Chairperson
Mrs Deborah Ong
Mrs Ong, a partner (Assurance and Human Capital) at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has over two decades of public accounting experience. She has been the lead partner in many of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ major audit engagements, and oversees various people engagement initiatives, including corporate responsibility and healthy lifestyle. Mrs Ong is also Deputy Chairman of the National Parks Board and President of the Singapore Division of CPA Australia.

Mr Chia Mia Chiang
Mr Chia is the Principal of Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Prior to this appointment, he held various senior positions in the Environmental Engineering, Public Health and Environmental Management Divisions of the Ministry of the Environment & Water Resources.

Mr Goh Kim Hock
Mr Goh is the Chairman of Chiat Si (M) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and PT Topus International (Indonesia). He is also the Managing Director of Chiat Si Industrial Pte Ltd and Csipl Pte Ltd, and the Director of Teclite Manufacturing Pte Ltd. He has close to three decades of experience in the manufacturing industry. Mr Goh is also the Chairman of Education, Scholarships and Bursaries Committee, Ngee Ann Kongsi, as well as Chairman of the management committee for Ngee Ann Secondary School and Ngee Ann Primary School.

Associate Professor Ho Yew Kee
Associate Professor Ho is the Vice Dean (Finance and Administration) of the National University of Singapore's Business School. He obtained his PhD in Accounting from Carnegie Mellon University, is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Council member of ICPAS. Associate Professor Ho is also active in the charity sector. He serves as the Chairman of the audit committee of St Luke’s Hospital, SATA CommHealth and The Boys’ Brigade in Singapore.

Professor Khoo Li Pheng
Professor Khoo is a full professor as well as a member of the Senate at the Nanyang Technological University. He is an Associate Dean overseeing undergraduate studies at the College of Engineering. His research interests are in Artificial Intelligence, Decision Science and Collaborative Design. Professor Khoo is also a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Singapore.

Professor Francis Koh
Professor Koh is the Deputy Dean of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU). He is also the Director of the MSc in Wealth Management Programme at SMU. Professor Koh also sits on Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Investment Committee. He was previously a Deputy Director at GIC and a Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore.

Mr Richard Lee
Mr Lee is the Honorary Treasurer of Ngee Ann Kongsi (NAK) and a Director of Ngee Ann Development Pte Ltd, the property arm of NAK. Having been with NAK since 1990, he is also Chairman of its Education Sub-Management Committee and a member of the management committee for Ngee Ann Secondary School. He is also a member of the Orchard Road Business Association.

Colonel Ong Tze-Ch'in
Colonel Ong is the Assistant Chief of the General Staff (Plans) in Army Headquarters. He is responsible for the long-term plans for the Army and manages the budget, manpower establishment and infrastructure. He is also an Alternate Director on the board of ST Electronics. Prior to this, he was Commander of the Army Combat Engineer Group from 2010 to 2011. He was Head of the Force Transformation Office in the Joint Plans and Transformation Department from 2006 to 2009.

Mr Ong Ye Kung
Mr Ong is the Deputy Secretary-General of National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Chairman of NTUC's Employment and Employability Institute (e2i). Prior to joining NTUC, he was the Chief Executive of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). Mr Ong also sits on the Boards of SMRT Corporation Ltd, Jurong Town Corporation, Chinese Development Assistance Council, NTUC Investment Co-operative Ltd and NTUC Learning Hub Pte Ltd. He chairs the Workers’ Upgrading and Employment Committee of the Chinese Development Assistance Council and also serves on the Board of Governors of Northlight School.

Mr Pek Lian Guan
Mr Pek is the Executive Director and CEO of Tiong Seng Holdings Ltd. He has 20 years of experience in project management for civil engineering and building works as well as entrepreneurial programmes in Singapore, China, Vietnam, Laos and India. Mr Pek holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (First Class Hons) from Loughborough University of Technology, United Kingdom.

Associate Professor Joe Sim
Associate Professor Sim is the CEO of the National University Hospital. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor with the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the National University of Singapore’s Business School as well as the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Health Sciences. Associate Professor Sim was previously with the Singapore Administrative Service and served stints in the Ministry of Finance, People’s Association and Ministry of Defence. He worked for a global consulting firm before joining the National Healthcare Group.

Mr Suhaimi Salleh
Mr Suhaimi, CEO of SSA Consulting Group, has more than 30 years of post-graduate experience in public accounting, management consultancy and training. He is currently a Fellow Certified Public Accountant (FCPA), Fellow Certified Management Consultant (FCMC), Associate Financial Planner (AFP) and Practising Management Consultant (PMC). Mr Suhaimi is also active in other public and community organisations including the Institute of Management Consultant (as its President), PMBM Scholarship Fund Board (Deputy President), Muslim Financial Planning Association (Honorary Treasurer) and Charity Council.

Mr Anthony Tan
Mr Tan is Principal Private Secretary to Mr Lee Kuan Yew. Prior to this, he served in various positions in the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Finance and People's Association. Mr Tan is also the Honorary Secretary of the Association for People with Special Needs and Chairman of its Schools Management Committee.

Mr Jamie Teo Miang Yeow
In his current capacity as the Chief Executive Officer of Singapura Finance Ltd, Mr Teo is involved in various aspects of the organisation, from strategy to credit control to information technology. He was instrumental in the banking system upgrade and rebranding of Singapura Finance. Mr Teo has also worked with Ernst & Young Consultants, assisting small & medium enterprises in business planning and strategy implementation. He is also a member of the management committee for Ngee Ann Secondary School.

Mr Daniel Yeong
Mr Yeong has over 25 years of experience in product design and manufacturing. He was the co-founder and CEO of GES International Limited, a provider of original design and manufacturing for Point of Sales and other electronic devices. He is currently the Executive Chairman/CEO of Amtek Engineering Limited, a global precision engineering company with factories in over 10 countries.

Mr Yue Lip Sin
Mr Yue is the Director of Assessment and Research Division of the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Director, Mother Tongue Languages Branch, Curriculum Planning and Development Division, Ministry of Education from 2004 to 2011 and the Principal of Chung Cheng High School (Main) from 2000 to 2004.
