Developing our staff
| Human capital development remains a key component of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s strategic thrusts. During the year in review, the Polytechnic explored how it could enhance career progression, learning and development, and work-life integration. | |
| • | The core competency framework was redefined and a learning roadmap introduced to align our staff capabilities development with the key attributes and core competencies that reflect our values. |
| • | Three career tracks were rolled out for Technical Support Officers to enhance their career progression. |
| • | The Polytechnic launched a Staff Wellbeing and Bonding Activities Fund to promote staff bonding and recognise staff for outstanding contributions. |
| • | A new IT Allowance was established to promote use of IT applications and devices to support teaching and learning by staff. This scheme also aims to enhance staff’s productivity and connectivity with students. |
| • | A new staff gym was opened to promote better work-life balance and encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. |
