Creating new facilities
| Ngee Ann Polytechnic is committed to providing state-of-the-art facilities to support the learning needs of all its students. | |
| • | The Polytechnic built two new architectural design studios for Sustainable Urban Design & Engineering students who are pursuing the Architectural Studies specialisation. The studios are a home base for students to conceptualise and create architectural models. |
| • | Diploma in Animation & 3D Arts students also enjoy new learning facilities. This includes a multimedia projector classroom, a sculpture and modelling studio, and a project lab. A specialised software training lab has also been set up for industry partnerships and collaborative programmes. |
| • | The Polytechnic has constructed a new teaching facility at the Clementi Woods Park to host some modules of the Landscape Design & Horticulture course. Called the Greenhub, the facility enables practicals and lectures to be integrated and conducted on-site. |
| • | The refurbishment of the sports complex was completed in February 2012. The revamped complex has a gymnasium with state-of-the-art fitness equipment, multi-purpose sports halls, martial arts training studios, squash courts, an Olympic-sized pool, and sports CCA club rooms. It also houses Poolside, the Polytechnic’s latest air-conditioned food court. |
