When is the entrance examination for international students held and what does it cover? Can I have a copy of past years'papers?

The entrance examination is generally to establish if the student has attained the required academic standard and level of English proficiency. It is usually held 3 weeks before the start of term. Its contents vary from year to year and could be a combination of various subjects, eg. Maths, Science or English. It is mainly aimed at assessing the English proficiency level of candidates so as to ensure that they can cope with the rigour of polytechnic education here. How does an education in NP lead me to a university degree subsequently?

The advantage of a polytechnic education is the emphasis on a practical and hands-on training experience which equips our students for the industry as well as further studies.

Our Diplomas are accreditated by many renowned universities, both local and overseas. E.g. National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore Management University (SMU). Many overseas universities in the United Kingdom, Europe, United States and Australia admit our diploma holders to their degree courses with one to two year exemptions.
