Please see here.

Are financial assistance schemes available for needy students?

Yes, they are available. Please see here.

Are financial assistance schemes available to international students?

In general, international students can apply for tuition fee loans and most scholarships and bursaries. Competition for these scholarships and bursaries is keen and students are advised to ensure that they are financially independent throughout their course of study. Applications are usually open in April when the academic term starts.

International students can also opt for the Tuition Grant scheme. Under the Tuition Grant Scheme, the education of foreign students (including Singapore Permanent Residents) at the Polytechnic is highly subsidised by the Singapore government. For more details, please see here.

If I accept the Tuition Grant (TG) subsidy, what are my obligations?

If you are a non-Singapore citizen (including Singapore Permanent Resident), you will be bonded to work in Singapore registered companies for a minimum period of 3 years upon your graduation.

There is, however, no bond for a Singapore citizen who opt for Tuition Grant Subsidy.

Who should I consult regarding guidelines on the Tuition Grant?
