Before applying, you need to check that you have or are likely to have the right academic qualifications first.
We consider the following international academic qualifications:

| India | Secondary School Certificate (Year 10) obtained from:
• The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISCE)

• Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary School Leaving Certificate

# Short-listed candidates with these qualifications may be required to take an entrance examination in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Overseas candidates must make their own travel arrangements to and from Singapore if they wish to sit for the entrance examination
Once you have confirmed the right academic qualifications, you need to then achieve the right grades at the right level and in the right subjects for the course you have chosen.
To be considered for our 3-year full-time diploma courses, you must have scored 'A's and 'B's or above 75% for all core subjects to stand a higher chance of being shortlisted. You should obtain good grades in English, Mathematics, 2 other subjects and a relevant subject for the course you are applying for.
