 Joint Polytechnic Admission Exercise (JPAE) @ NP

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL JPAE APPLICANTS USING ITE / SPM / STPM QUALIFICATIONS TO
APPLY ON-LINE FROM HOME DURING THE APPLICATION PERIOD .

#

Higher NITEC holders in Paramedic & Emergency Care and those applying for the Business & Social Enterprise course must have a GPA of at least 3.0
 
 # Higher NITEC holders in Early Childhood Education with a GPA of at least 3.0 and a minimum grade of C6 in their GCE 'O' level English are to apply under the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)
 
 * NITEC holders with GPA of below 3.5 may apply for the Sustainable Urban Design & Engineering and Real Estate Business diploma courses if they are from building related disciplines.
 
 * NITEC / NTC2 graduates OR Final Year NITEC students who are foreigners and do not possess the Singapore Cambridge GCE 'N' or 'O' Level qualification are required to have sat for the equivalent qualification in their home country in order to be able to apply under JPAE.
 
 * NITEC (Nursing) holders applying for the Health Sciences (Nursing) course with 3.0 <  GPA < 3.5 and at least 1 year of work experience and a recommendation by the hospital, are to do so under the Direct Admissions Exercise (DAE)

Submission of application printout and document must reach the Polytechnic of your first choice by 16 March 2011*.
 

Note: 

@ Final-year ITE students' JPAE posting results are dependant on the date of release of their final results in early April.  As the academic term for AY2011/2012 will begin on 18 April 2011 for NP, NP will try to expedite the enrolment of these successful final year ITE students.

# Malaysians who are awaiting for their STPM results are advised to apply with their SPM results for courses which they are eligible for. They can subsequently submit an appeal and their STPM document to the polytechnic to request to be considered for module exemptions in selected courses based on their STPM results.

^ Subject to change, depending on the date of the release of the 2010 SPM/STPM results.

* SPM & STPM holders are required to submit their application printout and documents (photocopy of results and passport) which must reach the Polytechnic of their first choice by the stipulated deadline. They may mail, fax, scan & email or hand these in person

Documents to Submit

Please note that there is no upfront application fee charged by Ngee Ann Polytechnic

ITE applicants do not need to make any hardcopy submission EXCEPT FOR the holders of NITEC in Nursing with GPA of below 3.5 but at least 3.0

SPM/STPM applicants must submit hardcopies of their online application together with the supporting documents.

Only complete submissions received with the necessary documents during the application period will be processed.


The printout of the online application form together with photocopies of the following relevant documents of the SPM/STPM holder must be submitted to the Polytechnic of your first choice within the dates specified in the newspaper advertisement or JPAE website.

  • Printout of Online Application Form
  • Identity Card/Passport
  • SPM/STPM Examination Results

Applicants who are successful in their applications must produce the original copies of their documents for verification during their enrolment.
