At NP, we believe that in order to provide each and every student with a fruitful educational experience, it is vital that students are able to handle the academic rigour of our courses. As a result, students with the following qualifications must meet the entry requirements in order to be considered for our courses.

Admissions Requirements

In general, students considering the 3-year full-time diploma courses should have obtained at least 5 credits in their relevant subjects in their Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level examinations.

In general, graduates from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) with Higher NITEC or NITEC (excluding NITEC in Office Skills) qualifications can apply for our courses. Admission will be considered on the merits of the ITE results. The entry point will depend on the type of ITE qualifications and the GPA score as follows:

Students with GCE 'A' Level qualification can apply for direct entry to 2nd year of selected 3-year full-time diploma courses, provided they meet the entry requirements found here.

Students from Integrated Programmes (IP) in Singapore who have completed Integrated Programme (IP) Year 4 may be considered for admission to 3-year diploma courses based on their IP Year 4 results. Eligibility is similar to GCE 'O' Level 

Students from Integrated Programmes (IP) in Singapore who have completed Year 6 of the IP programme and obtained either a GCE 'A' level qualification or an IB Diploma may be considered for direct entry to 2nd Year of selected 3-year full-time diploma courses. Applicants using international qualifications who have scored 'A's and 'B's or above 75% for all core subjects would stand a higher chance of being shortlisted.
