AT Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), we believe no student should be denied a quality education simply because of his/her financial constraints. As such, we are fully committed to helping needy students with their education expenses.

Every year, apart from government financial schemes, such as the Tuition Fee Loan Scheme and Government Study Loan Scheme, NP -- together with its philanthropic partners offers many bursaries and grants based on each student’s financial background. In academic year 2011, more than 4,000 deserving students were given financial assistance worth $9.5m!

We, together with our philanthropic partners, provide top-up grants to Singapore Citizen (SC) students!

Each year, SC students with a monthly income per household member (MI/HM) of $850 or less and $1,000 or less receive top-up grants of $900 and $650 respectively from NP, in addition to the government bursary. These SC students hence receive a total financial aid package of $2,700 and $2,000 respectively.

With applications for financial assistance open throughout the year, our students can be assured that they will not be left to their own devices.
