ASKnLearn Pte Ltd

Started as a joint venture partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic, ASKnLearn has become one of the leading e-learning providers in Singapore.  It provides a wide range of e-learning content, solutions and services to over 120 institutions in Singapore, China, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Brunei, Vietnam and Kuwait.  The company had won various awards such as Singapore’s Best Education Value Learning Object, Red Herring Asia 100 Finalist.  To-date, it is fully owned by Educomp Solutions Limited, a public listed company in India

Progeniq Pte Ltd

Founders of this company were graduates from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Leveraging on the reconfigurable computing technology developed within Ngee Ann Polytechnic, the team took part in the 5th Start-Up@Singapore Business Plan competition in 2004 with the objective to commercialise this technology.  

It won second place and the company was subsequently started. Ngee Ann Polytechnic, along with SPRING’s Entrepreneurial Talent development Fund Scheme, awarded seed fund for their initial start-up.  To-date, the company has raised more than S$1 million to expand its business into the Asia Pacific region and the United States.

Plenitum Cares (S) Pte Ltd

Plenitum Care was a joint venture partnership with Ngee Ann Polytechnic and SPE Technology (S) Pte Ltd.  It was incorporated to commercialise the Smart BedTM system, developed by Ngee Ann Polytechnic.  The Smart BedTM system minimizes the risk of patients who are prone to falling. It can detect and signal when a patient gets out of bed, thereby alerting for help in time to prevent falls.  The Smart BedTM system enhances nursing care services and the quality of lives in hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare centres and private homes.  Several hospitals have their beds installed with this system.

JSNP Communications Pte Ltd

JSNP Communications Pte Ltd was a joint venture partnership with J&S Telecoms International Pte, a communication system integration company.  It was incorporated to commercialise a cost-effective multimedia multi-services Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) total solutions for applications in the educational and media industries.  The cost-effective multimedia multi-services DAB total solution is an all-in-one industrial solution that offers industrial-grade hardware and software components to broadcast DAB services.  Its software allows broadcasters to schedule and publish contents in audio stream, texts, images and web pages up to eight (8) service channels.   Besides, the solution also provides a lightweight and cost-effective setup of DAB transmission system

Ngee Ann International Pte Ltd

Ngee Ann International Pte Ltd seeks is to internationalise all Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s capabilities and initiatives in exporting its educational programmes and services overseas. 

It collaborates with key strategic partners to export its educational capabilities and provide consultancy and training services to overseas institutions.

NPE Services (S) Pte Ltd

NPE Services provides a one-stop consultancy service to local and overseas companies.  It collaborates with key strategic partners to contribute to their technological and business capabilities.  It also facilitates relevant technologies and knowledge transfer through research and development activities.  It provides training and development to enhance skills, capabilities and productivity of the workforce of local and overseas companies.
